Little Champs Preschool

Little Champs Preschool is right here in the PMGP Colony in Mankhurd. We use a couple of rooms, specifically 699 and 698 in Building 23A. It’s a very local place. In a neighborhood like Mankhurd, everyone lives close together, so most of the children walk here with their parents or older siblings. The space is small, but we’ve made it work for the kids. We have some colorful mats on the floor and shelves for their bags and shoes. Working in a colony like this means we know everyone’s business and they know ours. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don’t have fancy equipment or a big playground, just a safe room where the kids can be kids for a few hours. We teach them some basic songs and how to write their names. Most of the time is just spent making sure they are happy and getting along. The building itself is just a regular residential block, so it feels very much like a home. We deal with the usual Mumbai issues like the heat and the rain, but the school stays open. People around here trust us because we’ve been part of the colony for a while. It’s not a fancy business, just a small preschool run by people who live right in the same area. We enjoy seeing the kids grow up and head off to the bigger schools nearby.
