Leakless (I) Engineering

Leakless (I) Engineering is situated at 122 in the Vinay Heavy Industrial Estate, which is on Chincholi Bunder, Linking Road in Malad West. Being near Linking Road means we have to deal with a lot of traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. The industrial estate itself is a busy collection of workshops and small factories. Our space is mostly taken up by machinery and workbenches where we handle various engineering tasks. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting isn't as bright as a modern office, but it’s perfect for the kind of heavy work we do. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job with our sleeves rolled up. We spend a lot of time working on different parts and making sure everything fits together without any leaks, which is how we got our name. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a phone and some piles of invoices. It’s a loud place when the machines are running, so we often have to shout to be heard over the noise. We take our tea breaks at the local stall just outside the gates. It’s a very local, hands-on way of doing business, and we’ve been in this Malad spot for quite some time now. We aren't interested in sounding corporate; we just like fixing things and getting the engineering right for our clients.
