Laxmi Mobile & Accessories

Laxmi Mobile & Accessories is right on LBS Marg in Bhandup West, specifically at shop number 6. LBS Marg is a massive road with a lot of traffic, so there is always noise and dust coming in from the street. We’ve got a small glass storefront that we have to wipe down every morning because of the pollution outside. Inside, it’s mostly racks of phone cases, chargers, and screen protectors. It’s a small shop, so if three or four people come in at once, it feels very crowded. We have a small counter where we handle all the transactions and do minor repairs. The floor is just simple tiles that have seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We don’t have a fancy uniform or a mission statement. We just come in, pull up the shutters, and see who needs help with their phone. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we keep a couple of emergency lights handy. We know a lot of the people who live in the apartments nearby because they stop in for recharge cards or just to see what new covers we have. It’s a very local, neighborhood kind of place. We don’t try to compete with the big stores in the malls. We just do our thing here at number 6 and go home when the sun sets. It gets pretty hot in here by the afternoon.
