Lavish Hardware Collection

You can find us at A/8 in Bandra West, right on Y R Tawade Road. We are based in Rijvi House, which is pretty close to the police station. It’s a busy little stretch of road. The shop is usually filled with boxes of hinges, handles, and all sorts of metal fittings. We’ve got stuff stacked up to the ceiling in some corners because there never seems to be enough shelf space for everything we carry. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just the nature of a hardware business. Customers come in looking for specific screws or locks, and sometimes we have to dig through a few drawers to find the exact match. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s a working shop where builders and neighbors come when they’re fixing up their homes. The light inside isn’t the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. Bandra has changed a lot over the years, but this part feels more like the old days. We spend a lot of time talking to the regular contractors who stop by. Sometimes we sit on the stools near the counter and just watch the people walking towards the police station. It’s a simple life here among the tools and hardware. We don't do much advertising; people just know we’re in Rijvi House if they need something for their doors or cabinets. We keep a small radio playing in the background, mostly for the news or some old songs, while we sort through the daily inventory.
