Latest Furnitures is located at Shop No 13 on New Link Road in Kandivali West. We are in the Oshiwara area, right across from the Dutt Mandir. It’s a busy stretch of road and there are always cars and bikes zooming past. Being opposite the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going, especially on certain days of the week. Our shop is where we keep everything we are working on. You can usually find us surrounded by different pieces of furniture, some finished and some just getting started. It’s a bit dusty because of the wood, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and salesmen in suits. It’s just a regular shop where we handle the pieces ourselves. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the tables and chairs we have tucked in there, so you have to watch your step. We spend most of our day here, either talking to people who walk in from New Link Road or checking on the items we have in stock. It’s a lot of manual work and moving things around. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most of the other shop owners nearby know us. It’s a good community. We just keep the doors open and get on with our daily tasks. It’s a straightforward furniture shop for local people.
