Down in Antop Hill, specifically in the New Bazar area of Kirkee 21/939, you will find our small workspace. We spend most of our time here at Lamba Stamp & Signs working with rubber stamps and various types of signage. The machines make a specific kind of clinking sound that you get used to after a few hours. There is usually a bit of ink on someone’s hands by noon. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. It is mostly just us sitting at the benches and making sure the letters are lined up right before we press them. People from around the bazar pop in when they need a new stamp for their office or a nameplate for their house. The space is a bit tight because we have stacks of materials everywhere, from wood blocks to plastic sheets. It gets dusty, but we try to keep the work area clear. We have been in this spot for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slower than others, giving us time to organize the drawers. Other days, the phone won't stop ringing. We just take it as it comes. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up in the evening. There is a tea stall nearby that keeps us going through the afternoon slumps. That is basically all there is to us.
