Lalit Enterprise

Lalit Enterprise is a small shop, number 35, located in the Jaykar Smruti Building in Goregaon West. It’s right on a busy street where there is always something going on. The shop itself is quite narrow, and we’ve filled every single inch of it with goods. We have things hanging from the ceiling and stacked in the corners, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk in. Most of our day is spent helping people find specific little items they need for their homes or businesses. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. There’s an old wooden counter where we do all the billing and a couple of stools for when the feet get tired. The building has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the way the walls look and the way the door creaks. We open up early in the morning and stay until the street starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a simple way of doing things. We talk to the neighbors, complain about the weather, and keep an eye on the shop. There isn't any fancy marketing or big displays here. It’s just a local shop in Goregaon where we try to have what people are looking for on any given day. Sometimes the shutter is a bit hard to pull up.
