L G Balakrishan & Bros Ltd

We are based at Gala No. 14 inside the Shree Krishna Commercial Centre. This is over in Udyog Nagar on V.S. Road in Mumbai. The commercial center is a big place with lots of different businesses all working side by side. Our unit, L G Balakrishan & Bros Ltd, is one of many in this industrial area. It’s a very practical environment. There is a lot of loading and unloading going on in the corridors. We have been here for some time and have gotten to know the other shop owners around us. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s more about concrete floors and sturdy shelving. We focus on our daily tasks, keeping track of our inventory and making sure orders are processed. V.S. Road is usually jammed with traffic, which makes the morning commute a bit of a headache. Once we are inside the gala, though, we just get on with it. The space is small but we make it work for everything we need to do. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to work. We don’t have a big PR team writing stories about us. We are just a group of people working in a commercial estate in Mumbai. We stay late most nights to keep up with the demand. That is just how the business goes for us here in the city.
