L C Joshi

Being on the third floor of Mahavir Chambers in Fort means we see a lot of the hustle and bustle of this part of town. It's an old building, like many others in the Fort area, and you definitely feel that history when you walk up the stairs. L C Joshi has been operating out of this room for quite some time now. It’s mostly just desks, piles of paper, and the sound of the ceiling fan spinning overhead. Fort is a busy place to work, and there is always something happening on the street below. We spend our days tucked away up here, mostly dealing with people who have known us for years. It isn't a modern office with glass walls or fancy rugs. It's more about the actual work at hand. Sometimes the lift is temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we'd like to admit. The light in the late afternoon hits the windows just right, though. We stay busy with the usual tasks that come through the door. It’s a quiet life up on the third floor compared to the noise outside. We don’t really have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. Most people who come here already know the way and don't need a map. We just keep things moving along and make sure everything is sorted by the end of the day. It’s a reliable way to live.
