J. P. Projects & Machines

You can find us over at Plot No. 6, right there with Parmar Brothers in Mohili Village. It is situated along the Kurla Andheri Road, which everyone around here knows is always packed with cars, buses, and rickshaws no matter what time of day it is. Our spot is tucked away a little bit, so it stays slightly quieter than the main road, but you still hear the constant horns honking all day long. We deal with machines and different types of projects, so there is usually a lot of heavy metal lying around or someone is busy fixing a part that decided to stop working at the worst time. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we have several different things going on at once and the floor gets covered in scraps. We share the space with others, so there are always people coming and going, asking for tools or just popping in to say hello. We have a few old chairs in the corner where we sit for a quick tea break when we finally get a minute to ourselves. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to doing it because there is always some machine that needs looking at or a project that needs finishing. Working in this part of Mumbai means you get used to the noise and the constant movement of the city. J. P. Projects & Machines has been our home base for a long time, and we know most of the neighbors. It is just a regular place where we get the daily work done.
