You can find Kumkum Exclusive Mobile Corner at 47 and 48 in Borivali West. We have two shop units side by side, which gives us a bit more room than the neighbors. One side is mostly for the new phones and the other side is where we do the repairs and keep the accessories. I’ve been in Borivali for most of my life, so I know a lot of the families who live around here. They bring their kids in to get their first phones, and years later, those same kids are coming back for replacements. The street outside is always busy with people going to the market. We have a big glass window that lets in a lot of dust, so I have to clean it every morning before we open. The shelves are filled with colorful boxes of all different sizes. Sometimes the light bulbs flicker and I have to climb a ladder to tighten them. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when the crowd is the biggest. We keep a big jar of candies on the counter for the little ones who come in with their parents. It’s a nice way to keep them quiet while we talk about data plans or screen repairs. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a solid place for mobile stuff where we know our customers' names and what they usually need. We try to keep things organized but it doesn't always stay that way.
