Our office is tucked away in Andheri East, specifically in the Laxmikunj Society on Sama Road. We are at number 210. This whole area is always humming with people going to work or heading to the station. Inside our space, it is mostly just us working on drawings and talking on the phone with various people. We have samples of wood and pieces of fabric scattered around the desks because we are always looking at materials for different projects. The space feels a bit cramped sometimes because of all the catalogs we keep, but we know exactly where everything is located. It is a simple setup with a few computers and a big wooden table for looking at floor plans. We do not have a big showroom or anything like that to show off. People usually come to us because they heard about our work from someone else living in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time out at different sites, so sometimes the office is empty except for one person left behind to answer the phone calls. Sama Road can get quite blocked with traffic in the evenings, so we usually stay a bit late to avoid the worst of the rush. We have been in this society for a while now and we know the watchman and the other shop owners nearby quite well. It is a practical place to work from.
