Our office is tucked away in Naranpura, over in Kandivali East. We are in rooms 216 and 217. Being near Sai Dham means there is always a bit of a crowd around, which makes the walk to work interesting every morning. We’ve been operating out of this space for some time. It is not a huge corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It feels more like a place where you sit down and have a cup of tea while looking at floor plans or legal papers. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It keeps us fit, I guess, even if it’s tiring in the summer heat. We mostly handle things for people living right here in the vicinity. Everyone knows the Sai Dham temple, so it's easy to tell people where to find us. The desks are usually covered in notebooks and maps of the local blocks. It’s a regular job for us. We get in early, check the messages, and try to keep up with the paperwork. There’s always someone coming by to ask about a shop or a flat nearby. We don’t do big fancy presentations. We just tell people what is available and what the situation is with the local landlords. It is a very direct way of doing things. We’ve seen the seasons change from these windows many times. (251 words)
