Our office is tucked into the Kanakia Zillion building right at the CST Road Junction. It’s a massive place, but we are in G-431/436. Being near the Kurla Bus Depot means it’s always loud and busy outside, but that’s just Mumbai for you. We are technically in the BKC Annexe area, which sounds fancy, but inside it’s just us working on design layouts. Architecture involves a lot of sitting in front of monitors and moving lines around until they make sense. We have samples of stone and wood scattered around the desks. It gets messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We walk over to the bus depot area for lunch sometimes. The commute for some of us is long, so the office is like a second home. We don't really have a corporate vibe here. It’s more about getting the drawings right and making sure the client understands what’s happening. Sometimes there’s a lot of back and forth. Mumbai is a tough city for building things, so we spend a lot of time worrying about space and regulations. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just do our drawings and try to stay organized in the middle of the chaos. It’s a good spot for us because it’s central and easy for contractors to find us when they need to talk through a plan.
