Krishna Trader

Krishna Trader is located on 4th Main, right at the cross in Masjid Bunder West. This area is always buzzing with people and handcarts moving goods around. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. We deal with trading various goods, mostly in bulk. Our space is more of a godown than a shop. It stays pretty dusty because of all the bags and crates coming in and out. There isn't much room to sit down, as most of the floor is taken up by stock. We spend a lot of time checking lists and talking to transport guys. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the counts are right. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the market; we just want to get our orders filled correctly. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because the lanes get muddy, but the work doesn't stop. We've seen many shops come and go on this street, but we’ve managed to stay put. It's just about being reliable and showing up every morning. We don't have any fancy signs or big logos. If you know the lane, you can find us easily enough. It’s just us doing the daily grind of trading in one of the busiest parts of the city. We often have our lunch sitting on a stack of sacks while we wait for the next truck to arrive. That is just how life goes here on 4th Main.
