We’ve got our workshop and showroom at Nakibkhan Compound, right on SV Road in Jogeshwari West. It’s a busy street, as anyone who lives around here knows. We do a lot of wood work, mostly tables, chairs, and cupboards. People come in with an idea of what they want for their homes, and we see if we can make it happen. The shop smells like sawdust most of the time. It’s not a fancy mall showroom. We have stuff piled up and half-finished pieces in the back. We use mostly local wood and try to make things that actually last. A lot of our customers are locals who are tired of cheap stuff that breaks after a month. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just one of us coming out from the back with a measuring tape. Sometimes the deliveries take a day or two longer than expected because the traffic on SV Road is a nightmare, but we try our best. We’ve been in this compound for years. The neighbors know us well. It’s hard work, sanding and polishing all day, but seeing a finished wardrobe go out the door feels good. We don’t do much advertising. People just see our stuff in their friend’s house and ask where they got it. That’s how we keep the lights on here and stay busy every single day.
