Kiwiskids Play School

You can find us at Shop No.12 in Tunga Village, right along Saki Vihar Road. Being in a shop unit means we are right on the street level, which is handy for strollers and stuff. Andheri East is a hectic part of the city, and our little corner is no different. There is always a lot of noise from the road, but we have thick doors to help with that. Inside, it is just one big room that we have divided up with some shelves and mats. We keep the toys in plastic bins so it is easier to clean up at the end of the day. We have kids from all over the village and some from the offices nearby. It is a simple setup. We don't have a playground, so we do most of our jumping and running around right there on the mats. Sometimes we put on some music and have a little dance. We have a small table for their lunch boxes and water bottles. The bathroom is small but we keep it clean. It is just me and a couple of other ladies who handle everything. We do the teaching, the cleaning, and the bandaging of scraped knees. It is a lot of work but we have been doing it for a while now. We don't have a website or anything, people just hear about us from their neighbors. It is a very normal, local kind of place.
