Kisan Primary School

We operate out of 2/A at The Little Flower School over here in Andheri East. It’s a busy part of the city, and our spot is tucked into the larger school area. Since we are a primary school, it’s mostly younger kids running around. The hallways are usually full of drawings and stuff the kids have made. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We have some teachers who have been here for years and they just know how things work. Sometimes the bells ring a bit loud, and the playground gets crowded during the breaks. We share the space, so we have to be mindful of the other classes going on. Getting here can be a bit of a chore because the roads in Andheri East are always jammed up. Most parents just drop their kids off and head straight to work. The building shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy. We have the usual wooden desks and blackboards. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gadgets; we mostly stick to the books and writing. It’s a straightforward place. We open up early in the morning and things usually wrap up by the afternoon. It's a simple, honest school where we just try to get the kids through their early years without too much fuss. It works for us and the families here.
