Kinderjoy International Pre School

Kinderjoy International Pre School is right in Shop No 1 at Dsouza Market. Orlem is a very specific part of Malad West with its own unique vibe. It’s a busy little pocket of the suburb, and being in the market means there is always something happening right outside our door. People are constantly coming and going, buying their groceries or stopping at the local shops. We've been here for a while now, and we’ve become a familiar sight for the people living in the Orlem area. The school itself isn't massive; it's a shop space that we've converted to make it work for the kids. It can get a bit loud with the market noise, but we are used to it by now. The kids don't seem to mind the bustle. Our staff are mostly locals from Malad or nearby Kandivali. We don't have a lot of corporate polish. We just focus on keeping the place clean and making sure the kids are okay. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when the parents come for pickup, but everyone manages. Dsouza Market is an old landmark, and we like being part of that history. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical Mumbai problems like the monsoon rain leaking through or the heat getting a bit much, but we just turn up the fans and keep going. It’s a simple, local school for local families who need a reliable place for their children.
