Kimo Electronics is based in Kalyan West, specifically in the Panchganga Society. Our setup is in Room No. 1010, which is part of the B.S. Patil area near Birla College. It is a busy part of the Thane district. Getting here can be a bit of a walk from the station if the rickshaws are all busy. The office is inside a residential-style building, so it doesn't feel like those cold, glass offices you see in Mumbai. We have got shelves full of parts and boxes stacked up near the door. Sometimes it is hard to find a place to put your tea cup down because there is so much hardware lying around. I have been with Kimo for a bit, and it is always interesting to see what comes through the door. Kalyan is a loud place, always something happening outside. You hear the traffic and the people from the college walking past. We just stay focused on our work. The room itself is a bit small for all the stuff we have, but we make it work. It is a practical space. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you just knock on the door and one of us will let you in. We are usually busy with some project or another. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes. The weather has been a bit humid lately, but we manage to stay busy regardless.
