Kidzee Pre School, Vikram Illam, Jolarpettai

Our school is located in the Cotton Green area of Mumbai, specifically in the Shree Bombay Cotton Mills Estate. We are in Unit-15 of the Bhatia Chawl at Mulchand Chowk. It’s an interesting part of the city with a lot of history in the old mill buildings. The space we have at Edu-World is practical and serves its purpose well. Because it’s an old estate, the walls are thick and the layout is a bit unusual. We’ve done our best to make the rooms comfortable for the kids. It’s a busy place with people coming and going from the other units in the estate. We start our day by checking the gate and making sure everything is in its place. The noise from the surrounding area is constant, but the kids don't seem to mind it much. We spend most of our time on the basic stuff like teaching them how to share and making sure they eat their lunch. There are a lot of seats and cushions scattered around for them. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the essentials for a preschool. The staff stays busy with cleaning and keeping an eye on the little ones throughout the afternoon. It’s a unique spot to have a school, but we’ve been here for a while and know the neighborhood well. It is a long walk from the station, but we like the spot. We spend the last hour of the day cleaning the floors.
