Kidzee Pre School & Daycare

You can find us at 174, Purnashanti, on Nathalal Parekh Marg in Wadala West. Being in Mumbai, space is always something we have to think about, but we’ve made this spot work well for our daycare and preschool. The building is called Purnashanti, and it’s a familiar sight for people living in the 400031 area. We spend a lot of time managing the schedule because we have kids staying with us for different parts of the day. The morning starts early for the daycare side of things. We have a routine for naps and meals that we try to stick to, though it doesn't always go as planned. The rooms are filled with cots and small mats for resting. There is always a lot of laundry to do, like towels and small blankets, so someone is usually busy with that. The street outside can be quite noisy with the Mumbai traffic, but inside we try to keep it a bit more orderly. We spend a lot of time just sitting with the kids and helping them with whatever they are doing. It’s a lot of patience and just being there when someone needs help. The kitchen area is small but we keep it busy making sure everyone is fed. It’s a very practical environment and we just focus on getting through the day without any major issues. We always check the locks before we leave and make sure the lights are all off.
