Kids Gurukul

We are located in Dahisar, over at Shree Swaroop Niketan on Shiv Vallabh Road. Our place is actually Shop No 2, so it’s right on the ground floor which makes it easy for parents with strollers. We are right across the street from the Saurashtra Patel Samaj Hall, which is a very well-known landmark in this part of Mumbai. Hanuman Tekadi is also close by. The space is small, but we have filled it with everything we need for the kids. There are colorful mats on the floor, some low tables, and plenty of bins filled with toys and books. It’s not a polished or high-end facility. It feels more like a home. The walls have some drawings pinned up that the children made. Dahisar is a busy residential area, and you can always hear the sound of the traffic and the people on Shiv Vallabh Road. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when there’s an event at the hall across the road. We have a small staff of local people who live nearby. We know the families in the society and the shopkeepers on our block. It’s a very tight-knit community feel. We spend our days looking after the kids and making sure they have something to do. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that’s expected with a gurukul. It’s a practical, local spot for the neighborhood.
