Khd Vallves (P) Ltd is located right in the heart of Sion. If you've spent any time in Sion, you know it’s a place that’s always moving, with a lot of old industrial energy still hanging around. Our facility isn't some glass tower; it’s a workplace where we handle heavy metal parts every single day. We deal with valves, which means there is a lot of grease, iron, and heavy lifting involved. Our hands are rarely clean by the time lunch rolls around. The floor is covered in metal shavings and we have to be careful where we step. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of grinding and metal hitting metal, but that’s how you know work is getting done. We don't have a marketing department or a team of people in suits. It’s just us, some tools, and the valves we are working on. We spend a lot of time inspecting threads and seals to make sure everything fits together like it’s supposed to. Sometimes a shipment comes in late and we have to stay a bit longer to get it sorted out. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a phone that rings more than it should. We’ve been in Sion for a while now and we like being part of the local grit. It’s honest work and it doesn't need to be fancy to be important to the people who use what we make.
