Khanzana Collection

Khanzana Collection is our small business located in Santacruz East, right along the Pune Mumbai Highway 5. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of movement and noise outside our door from the cars and trucks passing by. We mostly sell clothes and different items people might need for their homes. The shop is not very big so we have to use every bit of space we have. We hang things from the ceiling and stack boxes along the walls to make sure everything fits correctly. It is a simple setup with a few mirrors and a small counter where we handle the cash. Every morning we sweep the floor because the dust from the highway comes inside no matter how much we try to keep it out. We get all kinds of people coming in, some who live nearby and some who are just passing through on the highway and decided to stop for a quick look. We try to keep things that people actually want to buy for their daily lives. It is not a fancy boutique with bright lights and air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a regular place where you can find something nice without a lot of fuss. Sometimes we get new stock in on Tuesdays and the whole place gets messy while we unpack everything. We just enjoy being part of the neighborhood and seeing the regular faces every day when they walk past.
