We are at 45 Dhanji Street in the Pydhonie area. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Pydhonie can get. Our building is old, and the street is always packed with people and vendors. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. The office is up a flight of stairs that are a bit narrow and steep. Inside, it’s a mix of old files and some newer computers. We deal with international trade, so we are often dealing with paperwork for customs and shipping. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and making sure the numbers match up. We get our lunch from the local places nearby, as there is always something good to eat around here. The walls are lined with cabinets that are overflowing with records from years ago. We don't really throw much away because you never know when you might need to check something. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, even if it brings in the noise from the street below. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans painted on the walls. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done, and go home. It’s a steady business and we know our regulars well. Sometimes we have to stay late to catch people in other time zones, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. It is just a simple, busy life.
