Kerala Ayurvedic Clinic

Our Kerala Ayurvedic Clinic is located right in the middle of Vileparle. It is not a very big place, just a few rooms where we keep our supplies and do the treatments. Being in Vileparle means it is always noisy outside with the traffic and people going to the station. We have tried to make the clinic a bit of a quiet corner, though it is hard with all the city sounds. We do not have a fancy website or a big sign with flashing lights. Most people just walk in because they live nearby and saw us while going to the market. Inside, you will find lots of glass jars filled with various powders and roots. The wooden beds we use for the massages are well-worn because we have been using them for a long time. We start our day early, usually sweeping the front step and getting the oils ready for the first person who shows up. It is a simple routine. We don't use any corporate talk here. If someone has a sore muscle, we look at it and use the oil we think is right. Sometimes we sit out front for a quick tea when there is a gap between patients. The walls might need a bit of paint, and the furniture is old, but the herbs are fresh. That is what matters to us. We just keep things running one day at a time.
