Kazi Shopping Centre

Kazi Shopping Centre is located in Mumbai Central, in the Swastik Society at 32/40. This is one of the busiest parts of the city. Being so close to the station means there is always a huge crowd of people outside. Our shopping center has different sections all under one roof. We sell many things like clothes and items for the house. It is not like a modern mall with air conditioning or glass doors. It is a traditional shopping area where everything is kept close together to save space. Swastik Society is an old name that everyone in this area knows. We have been here for many years. Every morning starts with us opening the big metal shutters and setting up our displays. We have to make sure there is enough room for people to walk, even though it gets very tight when it is busy. The lights inside are a bit old, but we know exactly where every item is stored. We talk to a lot of different suppliers every day. There is always a lot of conversation and bargaining going on. Most of our staff live nearby so we are like a small community. Customers come in looking for things they need at a fair price and we do our best to help them find it. It is a loud and busy place with the sounds of the station nearby. We just keep going every day in Mumbai Central.
