Kaya Sudhar Ayurvedic Dawakhana

You can find us over at 3 S T Road, right in the Shreyas Tekra area of Ambawadi. We are quite close to Sagar, which most people around here use as a landmark when they are trying to explain where we are. This dawakhana has been around for a bit, and we focus on Ayurvedic stuff because that's what we know. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. You’ll see rows of bottles and small drawers full of different things. Ambawadi is a busy place, and S T Road always has something going on. We open up early and stay until the evening. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we are always cleaning the counters. It’s just a simple place where people come when they want something traditional. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to the people who walk in. A lot of our visitors are older folks who have lived in Shreyas Tekra for decades. They know what they want and usually stay for a quick chat about the weather or the local news. The fan above the door has a bit of a wobble when it's on high speed, but it keeps the air moving on hot afternoons. I usually keep a glass of water on the counter and watch the traffic go by. It’s a quiet way to spend the day.
