Karmuhil Organic Farms

Our office for Karmuhil Organic Farms is located at Readymoney Terrace, 167, Dr. Annie Besant Road in Worli. It’s an interesting old building with a lot of character, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes. We handle everything related to our organic produce from here. We spend a lot of time talking to the growers and making sure the vegetables and fruits are actually what they say they are. It’s a bit of a trek from the actual farms to this office in Worli, but this is where the planning happens. We aren't trying to be some high-end luxury brand. We just want to get decent food to people who want it. The office is usually cluttered with notebooks and various farm reports. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in emails, but we get through them. We don’t have a receptionist or anything; whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It’s a small operation and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. Dr. Annie Besant Road is always humming with cars, so it’s a contrast to the quiet fields we deal with. We just try to keep things honest and make sure the deliveries go out on time every week. It is a long day usually but we enjoy the work.
