Kalasha Collections

Kalasha Collections is situated on the second floor of Raghuleela Mall, which is located behind the Poisar Bus Depot on Karve Road in Kandivali West. We are at unit number 125. Being in a mall is a bit different from having a street-side shop, but since we are up on the second floor, it is a little more relaxed and tucked away from the main crowds on the ground level. The shop is filled with all sorts of pieces from our collections. We try to keep things organized, but when new stock arrives, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. The mall environment means we have air conditioning, which is a big relief compared to the humidity outside near the bus depot. I spend a lot of my time rearranging the racks and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of standing and walking around on the hard floors. We get a mix of people coming in—some who are just wandering through the mall and others who specifically come up to the second floor to see us. The view from the back looks out towards the depot, so I often see the buses coming and going throughout the day. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just focus on keeping the shop running and talking to the people who walk through the door. It’s a straightforward business, and I’ve grown quite fond of this corner of Kandivali West. It's home.
