Kabeer Foam Fabrics

Our shop is on S V Road, right at Plot No 41 in Jogeshwari West. We are pretty close to Rajas and right across from Ajit Glass. If you walk inside, you’ll see huge rolls of foam and stacks of different fabrics piled high. It’s a bit dusty because of the materials we handle. We spend our days cutting foam to size and helping people pick out fabrics for their furniture. The shop is long and narrow, so it feels a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock. S V Road is always loud with traffic, and that noise comes right through the front door. We have a couple of old cutters that we’ve used for years. Sometimes we have to move twenty rolls of fabric just to find the one someone wants at the bottom. It’s hard work on the back, but we are used to it by now. The walls are covered in small fabric samples pinned up everywhere. We don't really have a set routine, just whatever needs doing when a customer walks in. We know the other shop owners around here, and we often share a tea in the mornings. It isn't a modern showroom with bright lights. It’s a practical place where we work with our hands and get a bit dirty from the foam bits. We just stay busy and keep the shop open until late in the evening every day.
