K Raj Traders

You can find K Raj Traders at 55/57 Nagdevi Street. If you know anything about this area, you know it’s one of the busiest markets around for hardware and tools. Our shop is right in the thick of it, surrounded by other traders and constant noise. Every morning starts with unloading crates and trying to find space for new stock in our small area. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes, and the street outside is always packed with handcarts and people rushing around. We don't have a lot of room for a fancy setup, so every inch of the shop is filled with something. It gets pretty dusty with all the construction items and people coming in and out, but that’s just Nagdevi Street for you. We’ve been here for years, dealing with the same suppliers and seeing the same faces. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; we just trade the items people need for their projects and keep the books as straight as we can. The ceiling is high but the shelves reach all the way up, so we’re always using a ladder to get things down. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy way to work, but we are used to the rhythm of the market by now. We usually just eat our lunch quickly between customers and keep moving until the evening when the shutters go down.
