Jyoti Arts is located in the Laxmi Cottage Building over on Dr Ambedkar Road. Parel is a place that never really stops, and being at Plot No-B/190 keeps us right in the middle of all that energy. The building itself has been around for a long time, and our space has that old-school feel to it. We do a lot of hand-related work here, though we use some machines too. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a big project going on. You’ll find paint tins, brushes, and rolls of material scattered around. We don't really bother with making the place look like a showroom because that's not what we are. We are just a local spot where things get made. People from the neighborhood know where to find us. Sometimes they just drop in for a chat while we work. The light in the shop isn't always the best, so we use a few extra lamps to see the fine details. It gets humid in Mumbai, and the fans in the shop are always humming in the background. We’ve been at this for a while and don’t plan on changing much. It’s just honest work. We try to get things done on time, though occasionally things take longer than expected. That’s just life in a busy city like this. We just keep plugging away at whatever comes through the door each day.
