Jiya Art Jewellery is located over in Dahisar East. It is a straightforward place where we handle a lot of jewellery items every single day. The shop isn't fancy, but it serves the people living around here. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutters and dusting off the displays before the first customers walk in. Dahisar East is a lively area, so there is always something happening outside the door. We see a lot of the same faces coming in year after year. It feels good when someone brings their kids in because they bought their own wedding sets here a long time ago. We carry a variety of designs. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, while other days we don't even have time to eat lunch because it is so crowded. The shelves are packed with boxes of different sets and bangles. It can get a bit messy behind the counter with all the packaging material, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Sometimes we run out of certain items and have to wait for new stock to arrive. It is just how things go. We try to be helpful when someone is looking for a gift but doesn't know what to pick.
