If you find yourself in Dalawiwadi near Nanded Phata, you’ll probably see Jitu Communication. It’s my shop, and I’ve been running it for some years now. Mumbai is a big place, but this little corner feels like home. I handle everything from selling new handsets to fixing old ones that have seen better days. The shop isn't very large, but it’s packed with accessories. I spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out why a particular device won’t turn on. My cousin helps me out sometimes when it gets too busy. We get a lot of workers from the neighborhood coming in for recharges. It’s a practical business. We don’t use fancy words or try to sell you stuff you don’t need. People come here because they trust we’ll tell them the truth about their phones. Sometimes the rain gets in a bit near the door, but we just mop it up and keep going. Life in Mumbai is fast, but at the shop, we try to take our time to get things right. It’s just a normal place for phone stuff. No big corporate rules here, just me and the customers. I like the independence of having my own place in Dalawiwadi. It's a lot of work but it feels right at the end of the day when I finally close the shutters.
