Jenius Plastic

You can find Jenius Plastic at Shop No 5 in Indra Yadav Chawl. We are located in the Dahisar area, which is always busy with people coming and going. The shop is quite small, as you might expect from a chawl location, but we pack a lot into it. We deal with various plastic goods and materials. Most of our day is spent helping people find specific items or taking orders for larger quantities. It’s a very local vibe here; everyone knows everyone else in the chawl. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works overtime in the summer. We keep the front of the shop open so we can see what's happening on the street. It gets dusty, and we are constantly wiping down the shelves. My father started this business, and I took over after finishing school. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us on the mobile. It’s a simple life. We stock what sells and we don't try to be something we’re not. The space is crowded with bags and rolls of plastic, so you have to watch your step when you come in. Sometimes the rains make it hard because the water collects on the road outside, but we just put up the boards and keep working. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We don’t need anything more.
