Jemco Signs

Our shop is tucked inside the Chapra Saw Mill Estate. It’s over in Ghodapdeo, specifically on E. S. Patanwala Marg. If you know where Reay Road is or the Rani Baug area, you’ve probably passed by us without realizing it. We share space with Navyug Wood Works, so there’s always the smell of sawdust and the sound of machines running. It’s a real working estate, not a fancy showroom. We make signs here. It can get pretty loud with all the activity around the sawmill, but we’re used to it. We've been at No. 14 for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent measuring things out and getting the letters right. It’s hands-on work. We aren't sitting in an air-conditioned office all day. We’re usually on the floor or out back. The area around Reay Road is always moving, lots of trucks and workers. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history. We like being part of this industrial patch. You don’t get a lot of walk-in traffic like a mall, but the people who need signs know where to find us. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects as they come in. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the materials lying around, but that’s just the nature of sign making. We do what we can with the tools we have. It is just honest work that keeps us going from Monday to Saturday.
