Jay Ambe Ayurvedic Bhander

My brother and I have been at 21 Dahisar East in the Ambavadi Plaza for quite a few years now. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular storefront with some signs, but inside we have a lot packed onto the shelves. Most of our days are spent talking to the neighbors who come in looking for something to help with their digestion or maybe some oil for their hair. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big corporate office. It is just us here every morning at nine. We sweep the floor, dust off the glass jars, and wait for the first customers. Dahisar gets pretty busy, especially near the plaza, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. Sometimes we sit on the stools and just watch the traffic go by when it's quiet. We get our stock from suppliers we have known forever. If something isn't good quality, we don't put it on the shelf. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We know our regulars by name and we know what they usually need before they even ask. The shop gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but nobody seems to mind. We just keep things moving and try to be as helpful as we can without making a big fuss about it.
