Jalaram Collection

Jalaram Collection is located in Andheri East on Balagangadhara Tilak Road, which is near Mysore Road. It’s a clothing and accessories spot that’s been around for a while. We have racks and shelves full of different items. It isn't a high-end boutique with spotlights. It’s more of a local shop where you can browse through things at your own pace. The lighting is just regular fluorescent tubes and the hangers sometimes get tangled up. I try to keep it organized but during the festive seasons, it’s almost impossible. We get a lot of people from the nearby offices and houses. Andheri East is a busy place, so we see a lot of different faces every day. I’ve lived in this area most of my life so I know the shortcuts and the best tea stalls around here. The shop is my second home really. We don't have a website or a marketing team. If people like what they see in the window, they come in. It’s an honest way to do business. We don't push people to buy things. We just let the clothes speak for themselves. Sometimes the door squeaks a bit when it opens, but it lets me know someone is here. We have some old mirrors on the walls so people can see how the clothes look. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get new stock in, but we manage just fine.
