Jainam Plastics

Jainam Plastics is situated in Masjid Bunder West. Our shop is number 4, at 114/116 Old Barden. If you have ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know it is one of the most crowded trade hubs in the city. The lanes are narrow and there are always handcarts and trucks trying to get through. Our building is quite old, like most things in this area. We deal with all sorts of plastic materials and finished goods. It’s a very busy environment. We spend our days answering the phone and checking off lists of items for our customers. The shop is filled with the smell of new plastic. It’s not a fancy place at all. We have old wooden desks and stacks of papers everywhere. We’ve been part of this market for a long time and we know the rhythms of the street. Dealing with the wholesalers and the transport guys takes up most of our energy. We don't have any polished marketing or a big office. It’s just a functional space where we do our business. Sometimes we eat our lunch standing up because there is so much to do. It can be stressful with all the noise outside, but we are used to it by now. It’s just how things are done here in the old part of the city. We keep the doors open and just keep working hard.
