Jain Mobile & Gift

Our shop is on Station Road in Malad West, over in the Nizampura area of Vadodara 1. Being right near the station means the area is always packed with people. We have a bit of a mix here, selling mobile phones and different kinds of gift items. It makes the day interesting because you never know what someone is looking for. One person might want a new phone charger, and the next person is looking for a toy or a decorative frame for a gift. We try to keep a variety of things on the shelves to satisfy everyone. The shop is long and narrow, so we have to be careful about how we stack the inventory so things don't fall over. I spend most of my time at the front counter because that is where the most action happens. The windows get quite dusty from all the buses and trains passing by, so we have to wipe them down every single morning. It is a very lively place to work. You can even hear the station announcements when the doors are open. We have some glass cases for the phones and open shelves for the gift items. It is not a high-end boutique, just a practical shop for people on their way home. Sometimes people are in a rush and want us to be quick. Other times they like to browse around for a bit. We just take it as it comes.
