Our office is tucked away in the Shah Industrial Estate in Andheri, specifically at number 503. If you know Desai Road, you have probably passed by the Janki Center many times without noticing us. It is a busy industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise from trucks and people moving big boxes around. We spend most of our days sitting at these metal desks, looking through piles of resumes and making endless phone calls. It is not the most exciting work in the world, but it feels good when we actually help someone get a job. The walls in here could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the air conditioner sometimes makes a weird rattling sound when it has been running too long in the heat. We get a lot of people walking in asking for work, and we try to talk to everyone even if we are busy with something else. It gets pretty crowded in this small space during the middle of the day. We have been in Andheri for a long time, so we know the local businesses around here pretty well. Most of our work is just coordinating between companies and people looking for a start. We do not have a big reception area or any of that. It is just us and our computers and a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to wait around.
