Jai Ambe Agency

Jai Ambe Agency is over at Marine Lines. We are in the Wadia Building, which is around the Chandanwadi area. It is a very busy part of Mumbai. The building is old and has a lot of character. You have to take the stairs because the lift is usually full or being fixed. Our office is tucked away down a long hallway. Marol is also part of how people describe this zone, though most just say Marine Lines. The streets outside are always packed with people and traffic. It is never quiet. Inside, we have our desks and piles of files. We aren't really into the modern look. We have the same wooden chairs we have had for years. They are comfortable enough. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the city moving all day. It gets humid, but the breeze from the sea helps a bit if the windows are open. We spend our hours here handling the agency work. There is no big corporate vibe here. Just a few of us doing what needs to be done. We get our lunch from the local dabba service. It is a very standard way of working. The Wadia Building has seen better days, but it is a solid place to be based. We just keep at it and stay busy.
