Our office is over in Amba Bhavan, which is pretty close to the Tata Memorial Hospital in Parel. It is a busy spot with lots of people coming and going because of the hospital nearby. We are at A-4 on the Mankhurd side of the building. We spend most of our time looking at numbers and helping folks with their papers. It is not the most exciting job in the world, but someone has to do it. People stop by after their appointments or on their way home. The building is old but it has a lot of character to it. We have a few desks squeezed in and a lot of files. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or friends who have been here before. We try to explain things clearly without using all that complicated talk you hear on the news. It gets a bit crowded in here during the middle of the day. We have been here long enough that we know the tea stall guy and the security guard by name. It is a decent place to work. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. Dealing with investments means we have to be careful with the details. We just keep at it, one person at a time, making sure everything is filed correctly.
