J M Adv Print

J M Adv Print is tucked away in Shop No 12 of Mapla House. It is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for carrying heavy paper rolls. The address is Mohammad Shakoor Marg, right there near Channa Street and Modi Street in the Fort area. Fort is always a whirlwind of people and old buildings. Mapla House has that old Bombay feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings. Our shop is quite small, but we have managed to squeeze in all our printing machines. The air usually smells like ink and warm paper. Being on Mohammad Shakoor Marg means there is constant movement outside. We get a lot of walk-ins because of the location. It is a bit of a juggle managing the noise from the street while trying to focus on the print quality. We spend most of our time at the machines or at the cutting table. Fort is a place where everyone is in a hurry, so we try to keep up with that pace. We have been here for a good amount of time, seeing the old streets change little by little. Sometimes the monsoon makes the ground floor a bit damp, but we keep the paper covered up well. It is just a regular printing shop where we put in our hours and go home. There is always something to print.
