J K Trading Corporation is located right in the middle of the bustle in Jogeshwari West Sakinaka. If you know this area, you know it’s always moving. Our office and warehouse space is mostly filled with crates and paperwork. It isn't the cleanest place because of all the trucks moving nearby, but we manage. We spend our mornings on the phone, talking to suppliers and checking on where the shipments are. Sakinaka can be a tough place to navigate with all the traffic, so we spend a lot of time just coordinating timings. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just trade goods and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. The tea stall right outside is where we spend most of our breaks. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now and we know the other business owners on the block quite well. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to deal with frustrated people, but that’s just the nature of trading. We keep our ledgers updated and try not to fall behind on the filing. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when a big load arrives late in the evening. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks we have for the day.
