Our shop is tucked away in Prem Nagar, specifically in the Dongri area of Goregaon East. If you’re looking for Shop No 59/3, that’s us. It’s near the Teen area, which most locals know well. The space is filled with heavy machinery and the smell of metal and oil. That’s pretty much what our world smells like every day. We spend a lot of time hunched over workbenches, making sure the dyes and tools are cut just right. It’s precise work, even if the shop itself looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We’ve got stacks of metal scraps in the corners and drawers full of bits and pieces we might need later. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a quiet chat, as there’s usually some machine humming or clanking in the background. The lighting isn't great, so we use these bright desk lamps to see the fine details on the parts we’re handling. Sometimes we lose track of time when a job is difficult. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. We started here because the location was convenient for getting materials delivered. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so we all know each other. When things get too hot in the summer, we just open the front shutters wide and hope for a breeze. It’s just honest labor in a small room. J K Tools & Dye is just about getting the job finished.
