We operate out of Laxmi Niwas in the Masjid area. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of history and even more traffic. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do here. Most of the day is spent handling orders and talking to people who come in through the door. We’ve been based in this building for quite a while now. The walls are a bit thin, so you can always hear the hustle and bustle of the street outside. It’s just the way it is in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in our setup. Just some desks, chairs, and several filing cabinets that have seen better days. We deal with a variety of goods and services, depending on what the day brings. It’s a bit of a mix, which keeps things interesting for us. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big marketing plans. People find us because they know we’ve been here at Laxmi Niwas for a long time. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. It’s a simple life running a business in such a crowded area, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
