Is Design Private Limited

Our office is tucked away on the first floor of Hari Niwas, right behind L J Road in Mumbai. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy around here. Being in Mumbai City, specifically at Blk A/1, means there's always noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Is Design Private Limited started out small and we’ve basically stayed that way, focusing on the work right in front of us. It's a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure things arrive on time. The space itself is practical. We have desks, some chairs for visitors, and stacks of folders that seem to grow every week. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just handle the projects that come through the door. Usually, it's just us drinking coffee and trying to sort out the logistics of a new design or renovation. L J Road is a good spot because it’s easy for people to find us, even if the building is a bit older. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just get the measurements right and talk to the contractors. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. Most days are just about solving whatever problem popped up that morning. We like being part of the local neighborhood and seeing the city change around us as we go about our daily tasks.
